Getting set up with a Sevilla social security number

About to start your first proper job or launch a freelance project in Sevilla? Before any of that, you need a Spanish social security number (Número de Seguridad Social, or NUSS). It plugs you into the public system for healthcare and pensions, and your employer will almost certainly ask for it.

Who needs one

Anyone starting employment, registering as autónomo, or needing to contribute to public healthcare in Sevilla. New graduates landing a first contract are often surprised the boss wants this on day one.

How we sort it

We complete the TA.1 form, book the appointment with the Tesorería General de la Seguridad Social, and obtain your NUSS — usually within a handful of days, so your start date never slips.

In Sevilla

Most social security number requests across Andalusia pass through the Sevilla office. We know exactly what they ask for — and we accompany you, whether you live in central Sevilla or out in Triana.

Frequently asked questions

In most cases yes — the NIE comes first, then the NUSS. We can line up both so you are work-ready as fast as possible in Sevilla.
